Biography

An engineer and graduate of the Institut Catholique des Arts et Métiers (ICAM, 2003), Mehdi Guellil began his career as a field petroleum engineer at TotalEnergies. Working on offshore and onshore platforms in Africa, the Middle East, South America, and Asia, he gained firsthand experience with operational realities.

In 2008, he shifted his focus to consulting, working notably at Enea Consulting and Cameo Energy, where he specialized in energy efficiency and the decarbonization of industry. An entrepreneur at heart, he founded Kerdos Energy in 2010 and acquired the firm Orygeen in 2024. He has gradually expanded his focus from energy and climate issues to critical resources and corporate resilience in the face of new physical constraints that are reshaping the economy.

In 2025, he became a co-founder of Climate House.
