Biography

A materials science engineer (National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse, 2018) and holder of a Ph.D. in metallurgy (Claude Bernard University of Lyon, 2022), Tanguy approaches the energy transition from a technological perspective and through the analysis of industrial value chains.

He worked for two years as a research analyst at CEA Saclay, where he was involved in developing and drafting reports for the Ministry of Ecological Transition. His areas of expertise include critical metals (particularly nickel, cobalt, and lithium) and the value chain for lithium and sodium batteries.

Within the CTO, he uses quantitative and dynamic systems modeling to shed light on the industrial trajectories of decarbonization technologies, particularly those related to batteries.
