🔋 How can we accelerate the development of a European battery industry capable of scaling up and remaining competitive in production and recycling?
That was the central theme of our morning event on June 5, co-organized with FIND and ecosystem at the Climate House, with stakeholders from the ecosystem. The schedule:
- 🌍 Introduction — Sonia Artinian-Fredou (FIND)
- 🎤 Keynote — The Role of Batteries in the Transition: Julien Armijo (CTO)
- 🏭Roundtable Discussion — What European Supply Chains Are Best for Producing and Recycling Batteries? Featuring:
➡️ The discussions confirmed that this is a pivotal moment for the industry. Europe still has cards to play, but what happens next will depend on its ability to align innovation, industrialization, and strategic consistency.
⚡ Rather than simply chasing after new technologies, the challenge now is to consolidate solutions that can be integrated into robust, competitive, and less-dependent value chains, while enabling manufacturers to maintain their economic stability.
Another thing that really stood out this morning was the impact of these meetings. We are convinced that these opportunities for dialogue are essential for building bridges between stakeholders and fostering a more coordinated ecosystem.
🎥 All of our events (replays, summaries, and shared documents) are available to our members.
Thank you to all the participants for the high-quality discussions.
