His research focuses on the analysis and modeling of macroeconomic-energy-environmental linkages, energy and climate strategies and public policies\u2014particularly those related to energy efficiency\u2014and the modeling and prospective evaluation of transition scenarios. \n\nHe spent six years<span aria-hidden=\"true\"> as an analyst<\/span> at the International Energy Agency and co-authored more than 20 reports. His areas of expertise include:<span aria-hidden=\"true\"> electricity markets, energy policy, renewable energy, decarbonization of heat use (buildings, industry, district heating networks), supply chains, critical materials, recycling, and urban mobility.<\/span> \n\nFran\u00e7ois is also a board member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/sciencescitoyennes.org\/\">Sciences Citoyennes<\/a> association, which focuses on research ethics and the democratization of scientific and technical policy.
